Take a Deep Breath

It's sort of like pretending to smoke a cigarette. That first drag, how hard and deep we would draw it in. Do that with plain old air. Whoosh it in and hold a second and then whoosh it out.
Don't do it too many times in a row or it could cause uncomfortable sensations due to hyperventilation.

This tip to quit smoking helped me out many, many times. It helps because you are repeating a motion you're familiar with and I think one of the reasons we light and drag like this is because of stress and holding our breath. That's why the first drag was so good...we breathed!

Sounds simple but it's doable. Especially if you are caught unawares by an urge to light up.
Just breathe!
